Glazed white fish with a crispy exterior
Slightly sweet, perfectly crispy and totally satisfying.
Hogfish is always a favorite in the anchorage. This light and firm white fish makes the perfect bite size snack to throw in the airfrier and add to any of your favorite dishes. Combine it with rice with grilled veggies for dinner, dip in your favorite sauces for an app or wrap it up in a sheet of nori with all your favorite toppings for a lunchtime sushi sandwich. Sticky honey glaze and warm spices create a crispy outer layer to these bite sized gems that will keep you coming back for more.
Honey ginger aiRfried hogfish
Ingredients
1-2 fillets hogfish or firm white fish
1/4 cup honey or agave
1 tbsp dijon mustard
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp sesame seeds
Drizzle of olive oil
method
Preheat airfrier to 450F.
Pat the fillets dry and cut them into large bite-sized cubes.
In a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and whisk. Add the cubed fish to the bowl and toss until fully coated.
Lay the fish out in a single layer in an air fryer basket.
Air fry for 12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
